On admission to the home each resident is issued with a bedroom key. The bedrooms are large and distinctively furnished and decorated to a high standard. Some bedrooms if not all have en suite facilities. Each room consists of the following fixtures and fittings:
- Hot and cold running water
- Central heating radiator
- Single / Double Bed
- Bedding
- Wardrobe
- Chest of Drawers
- Bedside lamp
- TV
- Fridge
Service Users are welcome to personalise their rooms.
Each unit has a spacious and well-decorated lounge with television and DVD. There is a large fully furnished & fitted kitchen containing all modern cooking conveniences. We provide lockable cupboards for storage of food for residents. The fee level for each resident is determined individually after consultation of personal requirements. Once the fee is set, there are no extra costs unless additional professional services or staffing hours are commissioned due to changes in needs. This is only done after full consultation and agreement with the placing authority. All fees are payable one month in advance by invoice. Referrals must be made in writing by the prospective resident’s social worker or a representative of the funding agency.
Service users will be encouraged and assisted to integrate locally and enjoy the areas amenities. Pillar of Care UK resources are situated in central locations of North/East London close to local amenities and transport links
All major faiths and denominations are presented locally. Staff will assist service users to locate. Religious needs will be met within the accommodation.
